NEW DELHI: The CISCE on Tuesday chose to cancel Class 12 plank exams this year in light of this COVID-19 scenario, as stated by its own secretary Gerry Arathoon.
“The tests are cancelled.
The alternate evaluation criteria will be declared shortly,” Arathoon told PTI.
The choice by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) arrived about the traces of conclusion of their board examinations from CBSE, that was shot at a high level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It had been determined that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will require action to compile the outcomes of Class 12 pupils according to a well-defined goal criteria within an time-bound way.
The prime minister argued that the choice was taken in the attention of pupils and the stress among pupils, teachers and parents have to be placed to a conclusion.
The CISCE had asked its affiliated colleges to distribute information, such as average of marks obtained from Class 12 pupils in Class 11 and in this semester.
The board needed postponed Class 12 tests that were scheduled May 4 in light of this catastrophic second wave of this COVID-19 pandemic.
