Kolkata: Force Security Industrial Central (CISF) held a mass level yellow tree plantation drive at Kolkata Airport on Sunday.
During the plantation program, around 250 CISF officials were led by CISF Dig / Airport (East and Northeast) KCS Ray and senior Kolkata airport officials planted around 450 various plant food bearing plants.
The anus consisting of Neem, Guava, Imli, Jamrul, Bakul, Mango, Amla, Bakul Mahanem and jackfruit was planted in the NAD colony outside Kolkata Airport.
“CISF took the Sapling plantation program throughout the country at its facility to promote afforestation significance,” said excavation ray.
Bidhannagar police officers, Indian authority airport and many airlines along with their family members were also present on the occasion on Sunday morning.
‘Sanrakshika’ or the CISF wife’s welfare association also lends full support for this effort by joining the mass tree plantation drive.

Priyamvada Saxena, along with other senior Sanrakshika members, officers, personnel, and their families participated in the way and planted the fruit pads and traditional Indian trees at CISF Campus 5th Reserve Battalion, Ghaziabad.
In total, 2.33 lakh puppies were planted in all 352 CISF units and 75 formations throughout the country.
