Kanpur: An Industrial Security Force (CISF) Assistant Sub-Inspector Posted in Neyveli Power Plant allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself on Sunday.
Only informed, the Ghatampam circle officer rushed to the place along with the police team and forensic expert.
The reason for suicide is not confirmed.
The police identified the deceased as a 55-year mangilal, Shankarlal’s son, Indigenous Ignias Village in the Bayan District of Rajasthan.
“He has posted as a film in CISF and is on duty at Neyveli Power Plant in Ghatampam,” police said.
“Until I was on Sunday, he attended the assignment with two other colleagues.
His colleagues went to deposit their service revolver after serving but no mangilal.
He instead goes in a different direction and pulls the trigger after the position of the firearms on his forehead.
Hearing gunshots, his colleagues rushed to the place and found the mangilal lying in a pool of blood, “said the police.
Furthermore, Inspector Kushagra Sharma from CISF told the police Sajeti about the incident.
CO Ghatampur together with the forensic team rushed to the place.
Sajeti Station officer Ravendra Mishra said the reason why he committed suicide was unknown.
“The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and the investigation is being carried out.
His family has been informed in Rajasthan.
They are on our way to Kanpur, “Mishra further said.
