New Delhi: Constable Security Security Industrial (CISF) died after a truck crashed into a tent at Sardar Patel Marg on Tuesday, police said.
The police said they were informed about the accident at 3.20 in the morning.
CISF Constable Oomphachash was shifted to the RML hospital, where he was declared dead by a doctor.
Four CISF personnel and police Delhi Police were deployed for picket assignments in Marg SP.
Omparkash was sitting in a tent when a truck crashed him, a senior police officer said.
The truck driver flowed from the place, he said.
A pine under the relevant section has been registered and efforts made to arrest the driver, the officer said.
