Pune: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Saturday marked a bicycle rally from the Jerawada Central Prison to New Delhi, as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
More than 27 days, the rally will cover significant points historically and the birthplace of freedom fighters.
Some of the places to be borne are Rajgurunagar (the birthplace of Freedom Fighter Rajguru); Bhavra in Madhya Pradesh (Birthplace of Chandrashekhar Azad) and Shivpuri (where Tatya Tope died) also in Madhya Pradesh.
A team consisting of 12 CISF bikes participated in a rally that will end in Rajghat, Samadhi Mahatma Gandhi, on October 2.
