Nagpur: A seventies woman was found dead with deep slashes in the throat in his fifth apartment near Wadi Naka in early morning.
The police have so far registered cases of accidental death, labeling as suicide.
The kitchen knife was smeared with blood found near his body.
The family source said Moharmunni Singh, suffering from various diseases, was insomnia.
He was at home with his father-in-law Rinki and his daughter.
His son Vipin, a transporter, is in Hyderabad for visits related to work.
The police said the building guard heard the sound of cough and vomiting without stopping between 1.30 in the morning and 2 in the morning.
Watchman blew the whistle several times after hearing a sound in a day.
The noise was not heard after the whistle was blown.
Family members then said that Moharmunni suffered a dry cough.
