Quepem: Quepem City Park, one of the few places left for residents to relax at night, has been occupied by vendors since Friday.
Citizens have expressed disappointment at the inaction of the Quepem City Council.
“Since Friday, people witnessed fairly in the city park because some vendors had featured their belongings,” said a resident.
Vendors, most migrants, have sold their products in the garden room.
The municipality has not allowed them to sell their products inside the park area, said a council official.
Then on that day, city officials told the vendor to free the park room.
Hillario Fernandes, another resident, said that around three migrant families sold their products in the Quepem City for the past few days.
Their children occupy the trail during the day causing disruption to the general public.
