The Principal of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science B L Shiva Kumar said he had instructed the teacher to behave dignified with students and asked them to avoid talking to students about the topic other than academics.
B Anirudhan, head of the Nehru and Science College art school, said students had been given instructions about decent dress code.
On the other hand, D Brindha, PSG College of Arts and Science school principals, where 14,000 students learn, say prevent telephone conversations can create gaps between students and teachers.
