Ludhiana: Following the Ludhiana rural authorities regained 70 kg poppy husk and termed two detained, at the killing of two ASIs in Dabra region of Madhya Pradesh, police officers show a police group has been shipped to Jharkhand to determine the origin of the consignment.
Police officers also assert that a large portion of consignment was removed by dead gangster Jaipal Bhullar, who combined with co-accused Jassi Kharar was later gunned down from Kolkatta authorities in New Model Town.
On May 29, Baljinder Singh Babbi of Mahlla Khurd at Moga, along with Darshan Singh of all Sahauli village at Ludhiana were detained by Punjab Police by Dabra at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh .On May 30they had detained Manjeet Singh, an ex-serviceman of Burj Nakliyan, along with his former neighbour-cum-helper Pala Singh, that functions as Class IV worker in a combined society, following 70kg poppy husk was supposedly recovered from his possession.
Police had stated that on questioning of Manjeet Singh, it came into ending the consignment was awarded to him Darshan (who’s his uncle ) and Baljinder Babbi on May 12.
A police officer, requesting not to be named, stated through the coughing of Darshan and Baljinder Babbi, it’d come to emphasise on instructions of Jaipal, Bhullar had attracted 12 bags of poppy husk (168kg in most ) from Jharkand at a canter.
He added that according to the duo, whereas Jaipal had awarded them five luggage of consignment, he’d removed seven bags comprising approximately 100kg poppy husk.The police officer said Darshan and Babbi maintained they did not understand whom Jaipal had awarded the consignment.
SSP Ludhiana (rural) Charanjit Singh affirmed that a police team has been shipped to Jharkhand a week to determine the origin of consignment.
He added that the accused have shown they had attracted 12 bags of poppy husk and 70kg recovered, staying amount was takenaway by Jaipal.
He added that later questioning, Darshan and Babbi were made in court a week that sent them to judicial custody.
Meanwhile, the police officers have stated the Ludhiana rural authorities had attracted Bharat Kumar of Sahnewal, who’d supposedly eased Jaipal and Jassi’s escape to West Bengal and obtained them lodging in Kolkata, on creation warrant.
They included that the accused was questioned at the murder of 2 ASIs as he’d supposedly aided Jaipal along with Jassi, who’d shot two officers.
