City Corporation praised the ambassador of cleanliness

Coimbatore: Banumati Kalyanaraman, a senior citizen of the RK Nagar layout in Venkitapuram at Ward 13 of the City Corporation, has separated his kitchen waste to decline and not degraded for the past 15 years, many before the civil body began to insist.
He uses two trash cans to collect waste separately.
While he will hand over waste that is not separated separately to the garbage collector, he uses waste degraded to prepare dirt in his garden using a plastic tong.
This manure is used for plants and trees.
City Corporation has launched an initiative to identify people like Banumathi and appreciate their efforts by naming them ‘ambassador cleanliness’.
The corporation posted their work on social media handling the civic body to inspire others.
Original village in Karur, he settled in Coimbatore 57 years ago.
“People don’t have a room for gardening can take the terrace garden instead In Vellalore Dumping Yard, “he said.
Lakshmi Priya Dhanapal from the apartment at PN Pallayam is another person identified by City Corporation as ‘cleanliness ambassador’.
He began separating waste and using wet waste for composting five years ago.
He also encouraged another woman in his apartment to take home separation and compost.
He used to campaign from the door to the door in the nearest apartment on weekends too.
Even though he received a little support at first, many began to follow him after seeing his success.
Now, 52 houses come together to make their own wet trash.
Dry waste is handed over to personal people.
They sell that can be recycled separately.
