Coimbatore: German Consul General Karin Stoll inaugurated the center of excellence for water-related pumps and technology at KPR institutions on Friday.
In collaboration with the EKKI Group, the International Water Technology Center EKKI-KPR will take advantage of combined skills of more than 45 researchers and KPR academics and more than 40 EKKI engineers.
This new center will initially work on skills training, knowledge transfer and encourage entrepreneurship in the water industry.

“This will contribute not only for better work capabilities but also higher quality.” The new center will aim to exchange best practices in teaching and research in the pump and water-related technology industry.
