City: Art and cultural brotherhood in the city has accused the government destroying the appearance of the natural beauty and city heritage to develop a private bus holder in Chitra Vilas Park in front of the Museum and Art Gallery.
Members of the Indian City Heritage and National Trust in Heritage of Arts and Culture (Intach) held a press conference here on Wednesday and invited objections to “impossible” development work.
Activists accused the work of rebuilding at Garden Chatra Vilas not only destroyed the city’s heritage but also disturbed the peace and tranquility of the secret habitat of birds and insects on wetlands.
Wetlands form the eastern limit of Chatra Vilas Park.
This is a habitat that is known to be birds but under the work of rebuilding, confidence in urban improvements fill it with fly ash, they said.
