City: ACB court in the city punishes a retired senior power officer Super Thermal to three years in prison for taking a bribe of Rs 950 about 14 years ago.
He allegedly demanded bribery to provide a sanction of computer work bills of RS 40,000 while holding post on the station’s account section.
The court also slapped the punishment of RS 50,000, he was given a guarantee to appeal in the court above because the term imprisonment became less than four years.
Assistant Director, prosecution of prosecution (ADP), ACB Court City, said ACB court judge Pramod Kumar Malik on Friday held Chandrashaker Dadich (now 70), guilty of taking bribes RS 950 in two installments was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment.
ACB has captured Dadich when he held a senior post in the account section at KTPS on January 3, 2007, after he received a bribe of Rs 450 from the owner of a computer work company and the day before at that time at the time.
