City recorded the worst air quality in three months

Ludhiana: With Diwali a few days and burning arrears take steps, air quality in Ludhiana worsens.

For nine days, it was between 100 and less-than 150, which came under a moderate category with the possible health impact as “breathing uncomfortable for people with lungs, asthma and heart disease”.
For six more days, under 100 but above 50, which is under satisfying category with “mild breathing discomfort for sensitive people”.
For nine days, AQI is not available for City.
In September, Aqi was largely satisfying.
On two days, it’s in the medium category with more than 100 values.

On four days, it was moderate with a maximum value of 127.
This October was better, like the previous year, the month saw eight days when Aqi was poor in the city; The value is between 150 and less-than 200 for 10 days; between 100 and less-than 150 for 10 days and between 50 and less-than-100 on three days.

The authorities pollution control board (PPCB) authorities said Aqi rose during this season.
The PPCB environmental engineer in Ludhiana Gulshan Rai said, “There are several factors for the AQI increase, such as exploding crackers during the festival, propeller propellers and weather.
