City teachers make interactive studies and animations, winning national awards

Coimbatore: Thirty-Three-Two-Two-TWO-Three-year-old, an English teacher with higher school in Udumalpet, is one of the six recipients of the National Information and Communication Technology Award (ICT) from the country.
Known because of interactive videos and their animation for students to make learning grammar and other topics easier for them, it is the only teacher from the western region to receive awards.
Dhayananth began his teaching career in 2010 with private schools.
In 2012, he was appointed to the school of a government boy in Udumalpet.
Teacher, who jointly wrote the main English textbook for class I, said he was from the teacher’s family.
“I am the eighth teacher in my family.

“They waited for me to enter the class with a smile and it didn’t just make me happy but also motivated me to keep learning more fun and interesting for them.” When he first got his post in 2012, Dhayanth did a simple test for his students from class VI to X.
“That’s when I realized that many students couldn’t even spell their names correctly or knew the letters correctly.
So, me Want to strengthen their foundation, get their trust and I don’t want English to be the most frightening subject.
I also want to involve children who are usually disturbed.
“Middle school teachers then start their journey using an interactive platform like a video to get students who are usually calm , Irregular and disturbed to actively participate in class.
“I realize that some students participate and understand from videos better, because it attracts their interest.
So, I started learning animation, illustration and video making through YouTube and making videos for their topic wise,” he said.
“I made a video for grammar lessons first followed by another topic for class VI to X.
I also wrote a collection of class I main textbooks with a QR code, which can be scanned from students to see pop-ups and videos.” That was just an initiative that obtained recognition with the Directorate of School Education, the Ministry of State Education and finally the Ministry of National Education.
Dhayananth said, “My goal is to keep trying to make my students lively waiting to learn the next topic and not think of” portions “.
I want to continue to make my video more enjoyable, easy to understand and interesting.”
