City: 24-year-old soldier Jawan who allegedly ended his life by hanging himself from a tree in the district of Rajasthan on Monday, three days after his fiance died of suicide, police said.
Pappu Yadav, which was attached to Kumaon regiments from the Indian army and posted in Dehradun, had returned, police said.
According to the police, Yadav was depressed since his fiance committed suicide at his home.
He was engaged to the woman, Chittorgarh District, about three years ago.
On Monday morning, Yadav went to the field near his home in Dolical Village in the Chechat police station area in the district and hung himself from a tree.
Chechat police station Sho Rajendra Meena said there were no suicide records in the body.
The body was handed over to the family after Postmortem, said police officer, added further investigation into this issue.
