City: Rural Police on Sunday arrested a 43-year-old private tutor who allegedly raped a 6-year-old girl in Kitsuwa Village under the Degod police station on Saturday afternoon.
The defendant was produced before the court on Monday ordered to send him a prison with trial prisoners.
The girl’s parents reached the police station on Sunday and submitted a rape case against Abdul Rahim, a resident of Rampura in the city of town, said Degod Sho Ramesh Chard Sharma.
Tutors have lived in the Madrasah room in Killsuwa Village for about four months and have given Islamic and Urdu lessons to village students.
The girl’s parents accused that the tutor detained the girl in the room where she was used to give lessons when all the other students went to the house and suspected of raping her.
When the little victim cried and shouted, the defendant let him free, he added.
When the little victim reached the house, his parents asked why he was late.
He narrated his suffering that followed whose parents reached the police station and submitted a case against the defendant.
The police have submitted a case below Section 376 IPC and the Pocso Law part against Abdul Rahim and began investigating, Sho said.
Taking fast action on this matter, the police arrested the defendant in 24 hours after the crime on Sunday and produced him before the court on Monday ordered to send him to prison with a judiciary, he continued.
