NEW DELHI: The mayoral candidates in the ruling BJP have been put to have elected unopposed into the articles in both municipal companies in Delhi, surveys for that are supposed to be held Wednesday.
The final date to file nominations for the posts of mayor, deputy mayor and members of this standing committee from the 3 BJP-ruled civic bodies had been June 8.
For the post of mayor and deputy mayor, Raja Iqbal (GTB ward) and Archana (Holambi Khurd) have registered nominations in the BJP, the NDMC stated.
For members of this NDMC panel, Jogi Ram Jain, Vijay Bhagat, either by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and also Rajiv Yadav of this Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have registered the nominations, ” stated.
Election into the preceding posts will take place on June 16 in the assembly of the NDMC House.

Mukesh Suryan, by a ward in Sagarpur West, registered documents to get the post of the mayor and Pawan Sharma for deputy mayor, the SDMC mentioned in a declaration.
Moreover, four nominations were registered for the members of Standing Committee from Indrajeet Sehrawat (BJP), Poonam Bhati (BJP), Suresh Kumar (Congress) and Praveen Kumar (AAP).
The elections for these articles would be held Wednesday, ” it said.
Former South Delhi Mayor Narendra Chawla and Kailash Sankla additionally registered documents for the article of DDA members in the SDMC, ” the announcement said.
