Gurugram: With the city poll in Gurugram due in the next year, the MCG Commissioner has directed officials to begin the process of limiting the environment and finish the same in March 2022.
Private agencies will be sent to the destination and the report will be sent to the government in April, officials said.
At present, MCG has 35 wards.
But as many as 16 villages were included in the MCG limit in December last year.
At the meeting on Monday, MCG Commissioner Mukesh Ahuja asked officials to immediately begin the tender process to hire a private agent to survey the door to the door.
The agency will be entrusted with the task of finding out the total population, caste data, blocks and maps in March.
“The survey work must be started for limiting wards under the corporate law Haryana Municipal, 1994.
This survey will be carried out on the basis of the actual population within the MCG limit.
Agency will conduct a door survey to the door and adequate monitoring of this work must be done,” said Ahuja to officials.
With the limit expansion of the MCG and the inclusion of 16 villages in December 2020, officials said, there was a need to conduct a survey within the boundaries of Turugram to find out the actual population in these villages so that the boundaries could be limited.

The state government approved the inclusion of 16 villages last year, including Bajera, Mohammadi, Daulatabad, Dhankot, Ullahwas, Behrarrow, Bhondsi, Kadanpur, Babupur, Dharampur, Kherki Majra, Palda, Nangli, Umarpur, Dhumaspur, Naya Gaon and Maidawas.
At present, from 35 wards, there are seven wards ordered for women.
Of the total environment, there are 16 seats that have a member of the female council.
There were around 5.59 lakh voters in 35 wards, but officials said the number of voters had increased in the past five years.
