Kolkata: Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) increases its infrastructure in Ghats for Sunday, keeping it showing soaking from the crowd-interesting times.
The Civic body expects soaking from the famous North Pujas Kolkata – like Phata Puja stove on Jalan Keshab Sen and some of the great amherst Street, Beadon Street, Jorabagan, Kankurgachi, Jorasananko, Burrabazar, Haipukur and Hatragan – in Hooghally on Sunday.
Likewise, the organizer of a large budget pujas in South and Central Kolkata – including Bhowanipore, Kuriabanat, Chetla, Janbazar and Italy – will choose Baek Adamtolla Ghat (Babughat).
According to an official KMC Parks and department boxes, they expect more than 2,000 idols on different Ghats along Hooghly on Sundays.
In addition, there are 15 main pools in Behala, tollygunge-jadavpur belts and along the em bypass where idols from the environment will be immersed.
KMC expects no less than 1000 idols that will appear in this emergency immersion ghats.
“The week became the last day for immersion, we expected the crowd to Ghats along Hooghly.

On the first day of immersion, around 1000 idol times were taken to different Ghats along Hooghly.
Judge Ghat and Bajekadamtolla Ghat (Babughat) recorded the highest amount of immersion.

150 others were taken to Judge Ghat.
