Civil Body Employees Strike Today

Ludhiana: If you plan to complete your work at the Municipal Corporation Office on Thursday, reschedule your visit.
Because, all MC employees will strike to support other trade union protests against the recommendations of the sixth payment commission.
They will also take part in a general meeting in Patiala Bath Fund organized by state trade unions.
Sangharsh committee members of the city employees meet the Mayor of Balkar Sandhu and Commissioner MC Pardeep Sabharwal and submit a memorandum as a notice before the strike on Wednesday.
They assured them that there was no important service that would be affected by employees and officials would not work on Thursday.
But important services will not be affected.
“On July 15, the MC employees have observed a three-hour pen strike against this problem.
It has troubled residents and even Suvidha Center employees participate in strikes and work back in the afternoon.
