NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old Civil Defence Volunteer was Detained for allegedly Visiting an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Delhi Police in the Old Delhi Railway station to Traveling without a ticket into his native City in Uttar Pradesh, officials said on Monday.
The episode came to light on Sunday morning following constable Yogesh Kumar seen Jai Kishan Yadav at Delhi Police ASI uniform,” they stated.
According to authorities, Yadav, who had been waiting on the stage in law enforcement uniform, promised to have combined the drive at 2019.
After the constable posted together with all the 7th battallion of Delhi Armed Police requested Yadav concerning the way he got promoted to this ASI position at this youthful agethe accused couldn’t provide a satisfactory answer.
Deputy commissioner of Police (Railways) Harendra Kumar Singh stated,”During interrogation, he revealed his title just as Jai Kishan Yadav, a resident of Mayapuri Phase -II.
He explained that he together with his brothers needed to visit their native city of Azamgarh from Farrakka Express train, but they’d just two supported tickets” The DCP said Yadav confessed he wore the uniform of Delhi Police ASI so he wouldn’t be contested during traveling by train without a ticket.
A case has been registered in Old Delhi Railway Station under sections 170 (personating a public servant) and 171 (sporting garb or carrying out employed by general servant with deceptive intent) of the Indian Penal Code and also an evaluation is currently in progress, he explained.
