Civil equipment staff were held to accept RS 2,000 bribes

Coimbatore: Directorate of Precautions and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) Sleuth captured police sub-inspectors and police chiefs attached to civilian inventory wings, Coimbatore, to accept bribes of Rs 2,000 from a man from Maniyakarampalayam here on Thursday.
The Irulappan Sub-Inspector and Constable Head of Rajkumar were arrested by DVAC Sleuth in Keeranatham.iyappan, from Maniyakarampalayam, used to collect waste oil used in two-wheeled four and four wheels and supplied them to build contractors for work.
A few days ago, Irulappan and Rajkumar approached Iyappan and demanded Rs 2,000 as bribes.
They also demanded RS 1,000 every month as bribes not for the funist case against it.
Meiaiaiaa approached DVAC officials, Coimbatore, who put the trap and arrested Irulapapan and Rajkumar while receiving Rs 2,000 as bribes.
They were ordered under the prevention of corruption laws.
Duo will be sent on Friday.
