New Delhi: General elections to three city companies in the city tend to be held on the second or third day of April.
The source said the State Election Commission had begun to prepare the election and efforts made to complete the election process in the third week to ensure that the new houses were formed in the fourth week of April.
To ensure higher voter voters, the poll body prefers to hold elections on Sunday.
Although there was no final decision that had been made so far, the Country Election Commission informally asked the Delhi government to be informal to tentatively ordering school buildings – where polling booths were arranged – for election purposes on the second and third weeks of April.
Since Ram Navmi, a popular festival in North India, fell on April 10, the second week of the month, the source said the poll might be held on the following Sunday.

The poll panel might prefer to complete the process during the term of office of the leadership commissioner,” said an official.
In 2017, voted to three Civic Agency – Corporation North Delhi Municipal Corporation and East Delhi Municipal Corporation – held on April 23 and the results were announced on April 26.
In the last poll of three city companies, around 54 April, about 54% of voters voted, which was slightly higher than the 2012 figure of 53.3%.
About 1.5 crore voters – 81.3 men men and 67.6 women – will be eligible to give their votes in future polls.
In accordance with the selection roll published by the Chief Electoral Officer office in the first week of January, Delhi currently has a total of 1,48,999 voters.
More eligible voters can get their names to add voter lists until the election notice.
The source said the current process was ongoing and those aged 18 years on or after January 1 this year could still register as a voter.
The State Election Commission adopts the voter roll prepared by the Chief Electoral Officer office from Delhi as it is.
While the CEO office, which is the body under the Indian Election Commission, oversees the parliamentary and assembly elections in Delhi, the responsibility of organizing the city polls lies in the State Election Commission.
