Mangaluru: MCC has decided to provide toilets with small rooms and other facilities for Pouracumikas, on all 60 people.
The decision was taken at the Pouracumikas meeting chaired by the Mayor of Premanand Shetty on Friday.
Shetty said that the toilet will be built in the MCC Ward office.
The meeting also decided that the boundary of the health insurance card buffer issued through an Oriental insurance company must be increased.
At present, all Pouracumikas is issued a health insurance card each Rs 1 Lakh, with a buffer limit of RS 3 Lakh.
The buffer limit will be upgraded to Rs 5 Lakh, said Shetty.
“Give the emphasis for the regular health screenings of PourakaSh, and all must be given a vaccine dose of Covid-19.
The pension benefits of pouracumikas must be transferred to their account without delay.
Breakfast is provided for them to be of good quality.
Similarly, the quality of all safety equipment, Including raincoats and footwear supplied to Pouracumikas, must also be checked, “said Mayor.
In the Bhagya Griha housing scheme for Pourakakikas, Shetty said that financial assistance for RS 6-7.5 lakh songs had been subject to sanctions for them.
Officials must ensure that the benefits under the housing scheme must be released without delay, he said.
