Civilians killed in kabul air strikes, Pentagon admitted

WASHINGTON: The Pentagon resigned from his defense from the drone attack that killed many civilians in Afghanistan last month, announced Friday that the internal review revealed that only civilians were killed in the attack, not the extremist of the Islamic country who was first trusted.
“The strike is a tragic mistake,” Marine Gen.
Frank McKenzie, head of the US Central Command, told the Pentagon press conference.
During the days after the August 29 attack, Pentagon officials confirmed that it was done correctly, although many civilians were killed, including children.
The news organization then caused doubts about the version of the incident, reported that the targeted vehicle driver was an old employee in the American humanitarian organization and quoted the absence of evidence to support the Pentagon statement containing explosives.
McKenzie said the vehicle was beaten “in a serious belief” that the targeted vehicle pose a threat that will occur soon.
“I am now convinced that as many as 10 civilians, including up to seven children, were implanted tragically in the attack,” McKenzie said.
“In addition, we now judge that it is impossible for vehicles and those who die are associated with ISIS-K, or a direct threat to US forces,” he added, referring to the Afghan affiliate of the Islamic State group.
