Agartala: The clash of violence erupted between BJP activists in power and the main opposition, CPM, in various parts of Tripura on Wednesday.
The problem began in the city of Udaipur in the Gomati District in Tripura after the CPM wing, the Indian Democratic Youth Federation took the procession and several activists from the rally suspected of attacking a BJP activist who was in power who passed, surrounded it seriously.
Police said a group of BJP activists, who camped nearby, responded by attacking the Dyfi procession.
Police said two to three people were injured but their political affiliates were unknown.
According to sources, the CPM party office on Agartala, Bishalgarh and Kathalia, were also damaged and burned, after Udaipur’s clash.
Clashes followed the previous round of violence on Monday between workers from two parties, when the former Chief Minister Tripura Manik Sarkar was allegedly prevented to proceed to Dhanpur.
Police said BJP activists were injured from Udaipur, who were in critical condition, shifted to Pant Gb Hospital at Agartala.
A large contingent of the police must be deployed to dissolve a horde and avoid further riots.

Agriculture Minister Prana Singha Roy rushed to the place immediately after clashes and took a stock of the situation.
Then talking to the media, the minister said that the CPM youth wing had released a rally without seeking earlier permits from the police.
“When the police tried to stop the CPM rally, they enjoyed violence, hurt several people.
A BJP activist – Mofiz MiH, who passed, was attacked and injured critically.
In addition, a hotel was damaged and several houses were searched,” said Singha Roy to the media.
He said the government would take legal action against those involved in violence.
Meanwhile, the Union Minister of Pratima Bhowmik led the parade of protest in Dhanpur in Sonamura’s sub-division which protested violence Monday.
Then at night, the BJP District Unit consciously also held a protest rally in the capital – Agartala.
The CPM state party office in the burning and newspaper newspaper near the main road was also damaged.
