Clashes on schedule: MU to hold a separate exam

Mangaluru: Mangalore University (MU) has been planned to allow candidates to appear for other examinations, whose exam clashes during the ongoing special examination.

P L Dharma, Registrar Evaluation, said that the Principal has complained that there are students appearing for special examinations, where some of them have two examinations scheduled on the same day.
“For those who have been disrupted, we will conduct an examination after December 23 while, special examinations for sixth semester students will be held from January,” Dharma said.
Dharma blamed the college principal for confusion and said, “Before completing the test of the tables, we had sent a draft to all college heads of college to check whether there was a change to be made.
When we don’t get a response, it is automatically considered that good tables to go.
We went ahead with the exam, but they marked the problem after the examination began.
” 33 College reported errors in Result: VC Yadapadithaya Mangalore University Deputy Chancellor P S Yadadithaya said that a total of 33 universities have reported errors in the results announced recently.
“At present, the cross-examination department examines every result of this college, to improve them,” he said.
