Class 12 exam: SC attacks conditions in the CBSE policy to consider signs printed in the next test

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday hit the conditions specified in the CBSE clause in the CBSE evaluation policy in June which stated that the sign obtained at the next examination would be considered a 12th grade student.
Judge Am Khanwilkar and CT Ravikumar said the secondary education center (CBSE) must provide a choice to candidates to receive a better than two signs obtained in the subject of the final declaration of the results for the last academic for the last academic year.
The APEX court, who heard the request submitted by several students who had emerged in the CBSE exam last year to increase their value in class 12, noted that complaints had been made about the provisions in Klausul 28 of June 17 2021 policies stating that “….
In accordance with this policy, marks scored in the examination will be considered final “.
“As a result, we did not hesitate to attack the conditions specified in clauses 28 that in accordance with the policy, Marks scored in the examination will be considered final,” said the bench.

The upper court noted that the applicant had a complaint that this condition had been included in the departure of the previous scheme where the better than the two signs obtained by candidates in the subject must be considered for the final declaration.
It observed that CBSE had not given justification for departure.
Last year, the CBSE Class 12 Council exam was canceled due to a pandemic.
The bench, who wasted Plea, said the policy must be adopted because the challenging situation faced by students and this itself confirmed to make provisions that are more profitable for students.
Initially, advice that appeared for CBSE said these students had been assessed according to repair checks, and now they cannot use the policy.
“How does it affect you? Give us justification, why is this impossible,” the bench was observed.
While hearing this problem last month, The Apex Court said CBSE had to consider the problems of students who had emerged in last year’s exam to increase signs in class 12 but obtained fewer marks, because they would affect the acceptance secured by them.
Higher study.
The students, who appeared in the repair test, had taken acceptance based on the original results and it should not be disturbed, the peak court has been observed.
The upper court heard the request submitted by 11 students who were declared passed in the original results by CBSE based on evaluation policy 30:30:40 and later allowed to emerge in the repair test held in August-September which was held in August-September held in August September last year.
Application, submitted by Advocate Ravi Prakash, has been looking for directions for the authorities concerned to maintain the original results of the applicant instead of the results of an increase in the increase.
In accordance with the CBSE press statement, 34,317 regular students have emerged in the offline exam for the purpose of increasing their mark, he said.
On June 17 last year, the Top Court has agreed to the Council Assessment Scheme for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) and CBSE, which has adopted Formula 30:30:40 for evaluation of value for 12th standard-based students in the results of each class 10, 11 and 12.
CBSE previously said it would evaluate class 12 students for theory based on 30 percent of the 10th grade board, 30 percent of class 11, and 40 percent of the sign based on performance in the unit, medium term, and pre-board tests in class 12.
It is said that the sign obtained by class 12 students in practical and internal assessment actually as uploaded by the school on the CBSE portal will also be considered in deciding the final result.
