Gurgaon: Some schools in the city on Wednesday reopen their doors for students in grades 4 and 5 but receive lukewarm response from children and parents.
While most private schools remain closed for these classes, elections in government schools are also not encouraging.
According to the direction issued by the state government last week, more than 500 government schools in the city continued the physical class for students in grade 4 and 5.
While the school hopes to welcome children after 18 months, not many students appear.
In schools such as the Sanskriti School model and the Bajera government school, among others, footsteps less than 10%.
“Today’s voters are not too encouraging.
There are almost no students who appear for today’s classes.
We continue the class with only five to six students.
Maybe the presence will get better in the coming days,” said Manoj Lakhra, Government Principal Bajera.
Asha Miglani, Principal of the Sanskriti model, said only nine students from 146 children registered in class 5 reached the school on the first day reopened.
Some schools such as the 4/7 school sector government do not see a single student to improve the physical class.
Officials of the Ministry of Education and Principals have claimed that the rain that continued on Tuesday night on Wednesday morning, leaving various parts of the city that was flooded, could be the main reason for low additions.
They argue that some parts of the city are flooded, disrupting the overall mobility of students and teachers.
Because of flooding throughout the city, only students who live near their school appeared.
“The presence falls every time it rains and there is a puddle of water.
We cannot show the reason for the large number.
In the next few days, we will observe the response.

While the government school still resumes the physical class with around 10% of students in grade 4 and 5, the leading private school is not open on the first day.
They have used the wait-and-watch mode and apparently not in a hurry to immediately call students.
Emphasizing efficient online education, these schools argue that they will assess the willingness of parents to send their children to schools before preparing the list and calling students.
“We have given 10 days to parents to make decisions about sending children back to school.
Depending on the response, we will plan the list.
If we see an encouraging response, we will call the students rotate.
If only a few parents are Want to send children, we can have a daily class.
