Ahmedabad: The school financed itself in Gujarat can register until August 31 to the State Department of Education to increase their class strength.
The State Education Department has reviewed the July deadline and extends it to August 31, the sources of the department.
To fulfill large rushes in schools for grade 9 to class 12 acceptance due to mass promotion, the state government has invited applications from schools that want to increase class strength.
Government decisions for mass promotions for grade 10 students, results declared recently, have caused a big rush at school.
As a result, the State Education Department has decided to increase class capacity from 60 to 75 students per class.
The Gujarat board has made several changes to class strength for this year and then.
“For grade 9 and grade 11, we will allow 75 students to be accepted per class.
This rule will apply to 10th grade students and 12th grade for the academic year 2022-23,” said an official.
