Class XII students were arrested for harassment

Letter: Sleuggse Cyberrime caught a 18-year-old XII class boy for allegedly sharing the details of slandering about his classmate, a 17-year-old girl, on social media.
The defendant used the victim girl as a profile picture on Instagram ID and began sending a rough message to his brother.
He was upset because the girl did not distribute her photos with her, the police arrested the boy after tracing his cellphone through electronic supervision.
He was released with a guarantee after being questioned.
Rathod was ordered for criminal intimidation under the Indian criminal code and acted following the complained of being submitted by the sister.
The investigation revealed that Rathod and the girl learned in the same class and both were class monitors.
Rathod asked him to send a photo but the girl refused.
“Since then, he has conspired to harass him.
He copied his photo from photos of their groups at school and used it as a profile picture and created an Instagram account,” police said.
He used the girl’s name in the ID and began sending a rough message on Instagram chat with her brother.
My 20-year-old brother was surprised to see a photo of his sister as a profile picture and decided to approach the police, “officials said.
