Jaipur: Shortly hours reached 4am, several teams from nearly 2,500 police personnel knocked on the door 341 Sheeter-Sheeter and Gangsters in the city in the dusk-to-dusk operation entitled ‘Clean Bowled’ on Saturday and arrested 145 people with illegal firearms , liquor, medicine and property documents.
Some criminals are still far asleep when they wake up on a knock on the police door.
The armed police sought almyirah, looked under the bed and rubbed the document even when the suspect was confused about the reason for the police visit.
Overall, four firearms and 21 sword restored during the day.
The same scene followed throughout the city from Moti Dungri to Harmara and from the galla gate to Muhana.
Additional Commissioner of Police (crime) Ajay Pal Lamba said mass arrests preceded old operational planning based on specific information about the location of 382 criminals active in Jaipur.
The main objective of simultaneous raids is associated with containing armed criminal tissue and its affiliates.
“After search, we brought 185 suspects to be questioned at a different police station.
We have submitted a total of 21 firs where 145 was arrested in drugs, liquor and arms.
The city police guarded the eyes close to the suspect, criminal companies and land mafia for more than Six months now, “Lamba said at the press.
Lamba said all the police were instructed to carry firearms at any time during RAID and search operations.
The police said many of them were held or collected for interrogation including famous criminal gang members such as Munna Talwar, Ganga Pandit, Vinod Pathena, Vijogal, Kamal Meena, Sandeep Bungla and Shehjad Dudi.
“Raids produced property about gangs and modus operandi.
We have also learned that some of these criminals regularly intimidate their neighbors and shopkeepers in the area,” Lamba said.
While the police did not face major resistance, several suspects said they would come to the police station later on.
However, officials remained persistent with their request to check the house.
“Every corner is examined.
In some places we found land deeds and property documents indicating that the suspects were involved with several land mafia to take property,” Lamba told Toi, added that all suspects under police detention were firmly interrogated.
