Guwahati: The UJC National Eligibility (NET) exam for December 2020 and June 2021 combined the cycle, which began on Saturday after the 17-month gap, received an encouraging response in Assam.
Examination was carried out in Guwahati, Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Tezpur for 1,809 candidates, which appeared for 11 subjects in Shift I.
There was a second shift in the afternoon.
In Guwahati there are nine exam centers done.
However, the examination for the center has been rescheduled on November 28 for technical reasons.
There are around 12.67 Lakh registered candidates.
“To ensure fair and smooth test behavior on day 1, there are 1,783 jammer and 8,142 CCTV cameras deployed in all centers that help national and regional coordinators appointed by NTA, to virtually observe the entire administration of inspection,” Read the UGC release.
