Clear Mumbai Beach, Beach State Junk: HC to Govt

Mumbai: Marine life must be protected, the Bombay High Court said on Wednesday, looking for the coastline of the state, including the coast of Mumbai, cleaned from garbage and dirt scattered.
Hearing pills and referring to after Tauktae Typhoon, the main court bench Datta and Justice Gires Kulkarni on June 30 was looking for a response of the state, center and BMC about the problem.
The judges have prepared a list of all news reports, including May 20 toi reports, above the 87% sea pile more garbage on the seven city beaches on cyclone days.
Advocating-General (AG) Ashutosh Kumbhakoni said he had gone through a news report and looking for a short time to record the State Stand.
The judges reiterated they wanted the coastline and the beach was clean.
Justice Kulkarni said, “We want the coastline to be cleaned and the sea life to be protected.” Ag agreed upon, “said the vomiting back what you put into it.
” The judges observed that during any cyclone in the sea bed was thrown back.
While AG said most of it was plastic, the judges said that Including plastic bags and cans.
“The percentage of material coming to the beach is Minuscule,” said Chairman of Justice.
The judges will hear this problem on Friday.
