Surat: Five children suffered burns in the Yogi Chowk area when they burned sulfur and other flammable powders removed from crackers.
The incident video captured on CCTV cameras became viral.
Investigation by the firefight team revealed that gas leaked from the gas pipeline cooking underground and entered the drainage line.
The gas comes out of the burning got hole.
The children sat near the entrance gate of Tulsi Darshan Society II in the Yogi Chowk area.
Then, they came out of the entrance gate and put a piece of paper in the hole and tried to burn the lighting powder that was flammable.
The gas out of Manhole caught fire in the process, showing videos and suddenly swallow children with a fireball.
However, they immediately got up and left.
“Children do not suffer serious injuries.
The fire occurs because the gas is leaked from the broken underground gas pipeline that comes out of Manhole,” said an API official.
