New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a sunny morning on Saturday with a minimum temperature that settled at 28.2 degrees Celsius, notch above the normal season.
However, the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in remote places in the city on Sundays.
“The minimum temperature recorded in Safdarjung Observatory, considers the official city reading, it is 28.2 degrees Celsius, and relative humidity at 8:30 a.m.
is recorded at 75 percent,” he said.
The weather predicted mostly cloudy sky with light rain or the goal later, while the maximum temperature is expected to float around 37 degrees Celsius.
The city has received the first rainy season rain on Tuesday, 16 days after the normal date of June 27.
On Friday, the minimum temperature in the national capital was 27 degrees Celsius, while the maximum was resolved at 37.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal season.
