Closed Zone in Delhi: From 57,800 in May to 234

New Delhi: With Delhi witnessed a sharp decline in the case of Covid-19 new and the level of progress, the number of detention zones also dropped below the sign 250.
Just three months ago, the number of red zones stood above 57,800 which was surprising.
At present, three of the 11 regencies of income have zero detention zones.
The exponential growth of the Covid-19 case was witnessed during the second wave which swept the city in April and May.
The number of skyrocketing detention zones and reached a peak of 57,800 on May 18.
The numbers dropped dramatically up to 500 in mid-July and declined to 234 on Thursday.
Of these, 76 is in the process of scaling and the rest is active.
Exactly a month ago, when the number of detention zones below 500, the New Delhi district has the highest number in 176.
On Thursday, the district still has the highest number of detention zones in 115.
The number of active zones is 73.
Most active detention zones are in Nanakpura and Moti Bagh.
Satya Niketan, Shanti Niketan and Anand Niketan each has four active containment zones.
Vasant Kunj and Hauz are typical of South Delhi also have four active red zones.
The Gole market in the New Delhi district has the number of the second highest active detention zone at 9, followed by Ashok Vihar (7) and Nihal Vihar (5) in North and Northwest districts.
South (35), West (22), North (18), North West (18) and Shahdara (16) are other districts with a number of detention zones in two digits, while Southeast, Northeast and Central – One of them is the most dense area Residents – have zero detention zones.
Decreasing the number of detention zones and active cases have caused a higher contact and contact supervision.
“The number of very low detention zones now and very close watches are being stored not only in the zone, but also in the area around them.
Regular and intensive testing is being carried out in these areas,” said an official.
“In April and May, our workforce was stretched thin because the number of Covid-19 cases were very high.
