The average minimum temperature for the past two weeks has been 17.6 degrees C, which is quite high considering that the city has recorded 12 degrees C last winter.
The IMD official associated this to cloudy skies at night, too much moisture in the wind and increased moisture.
North and northeast winds bring winter.
But because of changes in the wind pattern, the north wind has been cut off.
The east wind applies above the country and is known to take moisture and cause rainfall or increase moisture.
Officials said misty / foggy morning tended to continue until April.
If the wind pattern changes in the next two days, the temperature may dip a little.
“But the solar position is likely to change in the next few days.
The winter will end soon and the temperature will begin to rise,” said an official.
