Clubhouse Chat: Delhi Police Take Lucknow Boy

Lucknow / New Delhi: A 18-year-old Boy Lucknow studying in a leading school was taken by the Delhi police team on Friday night because he was questioned in controversial online clubhouse chat that offended the Muslim community, especially women.
Delhi’s sources of police said the boy was not arrested or detained since he was cooperative.
His cellphone was being checked to verify the accusations he made and moderation of the chat group in Clubhouse under the ID “Bismillah-Ul Bilal Khan” on January 17, and then handed over control to other participants using the “Sallalos” ID.
The boy said they didn’t realize why the police took him around midnight.
His father, who was in the hospital with Covid, told TI that the police team did not provide details.
“I don’t realize it,” he said.
The boy’s father was an accountant at school where he studied.
The principal said the boy was a student who was disciplined and kindness in academics.
A friend said he could not imagine the boy could enjoy something that the police would come.
“There must be a misunderstanding of what he is asking.” A screen recording part of the Clubhouse chat, where the participants allegedly made obscene statements about Muslim women, then became viral “before continuing with any arrest, the authenticity of the recording must be ascertained, along with the suspect’s voice matching.

Mumbai police registered firs on January 17 and arrested three young men from Haryana, all members of the Chatroom Clubhouse.

Clubhouse does not record or maintain audio conversations in the chat room.
The latest online chatroom controversy comes on the heels of anger over the application ‘Sulli’ and ‘Bulli Bai’ application in Github, both are used to target Muslim women.
Masterminds of these two applications have been captured.
Police Delhi said the team was sent to six countries to track Clubhouse users.
Participants with a username “: Koko0107” was identified as a young girl from Kerala.
He has participated in conversations with other women from Delhi and made general comments, said source.
The cellphone and notepad have been confiscated.
Someone with ID (@versace_on_Me) has been identified as a 20-year-old boy from Jodhpur.
