The report adds that the backchannel feature will allow users to chat via text messages instead of audio.
Presently, it is not clear when the company will officially roll out the feature for its users.
A Clubhouse spokesperson told The Verge, “as part of our product building process, Clubhouse regularly explores and tests potential features.
These functions sometimes become part of the app, sometimes they don’t.
We do not comment on potential features.” Recently, Clubhouse rolled out an update for its Android app which allowed users to add their Instagram and Twitter accounts to their Clubhouse profile.
In order to add your Twitter and Instagram accounts to the Clubhouse profile, you will just have to tap on the “Add Twitter” or “Add Instagram” options given in the app.
