CM Bommai promises Rs 6000 Crore for Bengaluru

Demand for their citizens is consulted in the choice of urban work and funds used to complete a delayed project
With infra-war space to accelerate urban work on cards and a large number of projects including 15 class separators engaged at the speed of snail, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahangara (BBMP) Piki can receive a boost of Rs 6,000 Crore from the state government.
The Chairman of the Minister of Bumavaraj Bommai promised the funds to his colleagues from Bengaluru, according to a source attending the meeting managed by CM himself.
Such promises come when BBMP is likely to go for the board selection within one year.

BM officials spoke with views that great allocation must be given to complete the delayed work instead of completely new projects.
At present, there are at least 15 class separator (flyover or underpass) projects trapped due to lack of funds for land acquisition.
“The allocation must be made to complete this work,” said a BBMP official.
According to other officers, the Lake division requires funds to rejuvenate at least 50 less developed waterbodies.
The BBMP will complete an action plan based on advice from representatives elected city.
Residents, meanwhile, demanded that they also consult in the choice of urban work.
“Some of the grants must be set aside to do work suggested by the Committee of Ward,” Sapna Karim, Head of Civil Participation in Nonprofit Janaagraha, said.
“Critical works such as water supply, urban flood management, road lights and road repairs need funds.
We cannot measure the gap because the city does not have an index on infrastructure assessment.
Such formulas will help in handling gaps systematically,” he added.
Activist and Transport analyst Sanjeev Dyamannavar said the state allocation of the state must also take into account the construction of a large crossroads.
“Commuter is not convenient at least 25 places without a level crossing.
Because the train bear is 50% of the cost, the state government must ask for a special grant,” he added.
Dyamannavar suggested dropping the third phase of the white topping project and used funds to build multi-capital transportation hubs, protecting the lake and building a pedestrian crossing.
According to Ashwin Mahesh urbanis, the promised grant is not new.
“Such grants are packaged differently to attract public attention.
Quantum allocation for city infrastructure development does not increase significantly in a certain year,” he said.
He added that BBMP does not have the capacity to absorb more than Rs 800 Crore a year because as much time in the document and implementation.
In February 2019, the state government had conducted RS 8,015 Crore for Bengaluru for a period of three years.
Some works that accept most of these money are: Road Development (RS 2,246 Crore), White-Topping Of Roads (Rs 1,172 Crore), Increased Storm Water Disposal (RS 1,312 Crore) and Solid Waste Management (RS 753 Crore)).
Most are still in the process.
The Civic body will include input from departments such as lakes, road infrastructure and other stakeholders as well.
Because it is a grant of state government, the ruling party of MLA may have a sound in what work should be prioritized.
