Bengaluru: Head of Karnataka Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said he had been tested positive for Covid-19, with mild symptoms.
The minister’s chairman also said he did “okay” and was under quarantine.
“I have tested positive for Covid-19 today with mild symptoms.
My health is fine, I am under quarantine.
I ask everyone who recently comes in my contact to isolate yourself and tested,” Bommai Tweeted.
He has attended several official involvement today including the last ritual of the Literature Note Kannada Chandrashekhar Patil, the launch of the vaccination of preventive measures, fulfilling administrative reform, and meeting the delegation of former Chancellor representative, among others.
Recently, BOMMAI cabinet colleagues – Revenue Minister R Ashoka and Basic and Medium Education B C Nagesh – have tested positive covids.
