The Kampaib for BJP candidates in the city, Annamalai said that this was the first time that a minister had not come out because of campaigning in the local body election.
“About 2.64 people crore, approximately 45% of voters in Tamil Nadu, will vote in the upcoming urban local agency.
But the minister’s chairman has not left the house for the campaign,” he said.
“Does anyone see it campaigned? No one will see it outside, because if he goes to meet people, they will ask him on his failure to fulfill the promises he made ahead of the assembly election,” Annamalai said.
“That’s why he sent other people to campaign,” he said.
Assisting for journalists, Annamalai said the real battle in the local body selection was between DMK and BJP.
Annamalai said Stalin spent 80% of his campaign speech attacking BJP, a sign that it was BJP vs DMK in the election arena.
“Also ideologically we have direct clashes,” he said.
Annamalai alleged that DMK leaders to politicize everything such as the rejection of table tables in the Republic Day Parade only to oppose BJP and the center, instead of working for the development of Tamil Nadu.
Annamalai did not commit to the coordinator’s statement with Aidmk Edappadi K Palaniswami that there would be assembly elections in TN in 2024 under the program ‘one nation, one election.
“I don’t know the context of his speech.
But whether the country will have elections depending on people,” he said.
At the press conference in the coonor later on, he hit Stalin because of condemning the Governor of West Bengal to process the country’s assembly.
Annamalai said the governor had clarified that it was based on the demand for the state government.
“But without knowing the fact, Stalin has condemned the Governor of WB.
Now that the governor has clarified, will he apologize for cursing him?” He asked.
