Ranchi: Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren on Wednesday welcomed the opposition members to join the delegation of all parties to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demand a caste-based census.
He said letters were sent to PMOs who were looking for hearings for the delegation of nine members on the appropriate date between 12 and 20 September.
He replied to opposition members during the fourth hour on the fourth day of the ongoing Monsun session.
Although there are no specific questions related to the caste census or registered order, opposition members have cornered the government for their employment policy, the local population policy and its establishment of reservations for other rear castel candidates (OBC).
It was during the first half of the home session that Sudivya Kumar from JMM asked for a consensus of the house to send a round representation to the caste-based census center.
“Jharkhand Assembly is one of the first states who pass the resolution demanding separate religious codes for tribes in a census and similar representation must be sent to the Center for Caste Census,” his advice.
Again, opposition members also reaffirmed that the state would not be clean in the stand in terms of reservation for local residents without the definition of the local community.
Navin Jaiswal from BJP, instead of asking his registered question, look for replies from the government about his attitude in the OBC reservation problem.
In the answer, Soren told the house that his government was committed to booking OBC, Moolvasis and Adivasis.
“We are committed to providing reservations in work and have been extended even for the private sector but for that we must know the composition of the caste,” he said, announcing a meeting with the delegation of all parties.
“A letter has been sent to PMO and I will ask the opposition members to join,” he said.
Sudesh Mahto Party Ajsu accused the government is not clear in terms of his agenda to fulfill PM.
Mahto said that expanding the reservation to OBC was the subject of the country and also defines the local population but it seems that cm want to meet Modi over Caste Census that we are all ready, “he said.
While announcing to lead the delegation to the center to demand the caste-based census, Soren accused BJP because Not working for the poor, dalit, minority, and tribes for the past 20 years in the state.
“You do not need to worry about the Labor Policy and the Policy of locals because we are committed to introducing it one by one.
