Dumka: Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren on Wednesday conducted a flood area air survey in the Sahibanj District.

Reports show that at all 133 villages have been flooded with floods and nearly 48,000 families are believed to have been affected, with 18 of the 28 wards under the city council of Sahebanj fully or slightly affected.
Villages such as Shobhanpur, East and Western Hajipur, Lalbathani, Cargil Diyara, Bada Diyara Rampur Under the Conscious Blok Area is in a bad condition while the population dozens of Panchayats under Udhwa, Rajmahal and Taljhari blocks are saved by the boat.
The CM survey came a day after a high-level team consisting of senior government officials, Secretary of the Disaster Management Department Amitabh Kaushal, Secretary of the Ministry of Water Secretary Prashant Kumar and Director of Agriculture and the Subhash Singh Soil Conservation Department took a stock of the flood situation at Sahibganjan on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, at first, Soren attended the Development Exhibition in Sunderpahadi (Godda) and Barmar (Sahibanj), the Constitution of the Assembly and launched various government schemes and assets and loans distributed to beneficiaries.
