CM ‘Green Fund’ moots for tree plantations in T’Gana

Hyderabad: Chairman of the K Chandrasekhar RAO minister has proposed a ‘green fund’ novel for the success of Haritha Haram and to take a continuous tree plantation program in the state.
In this effort, he proposed to include each stakeholder such as parliamentarians, IAS and IPS officers, employees, students and traders.
Announced this during a brief discussion about Haritha Haram in the Assembly on Friday, CM said he had spoken with selected representatives, bureaucrats and government employees who had advanced to contribute a large amount of proposed green funds.
“While the selected MLC, MLC, and MPS will contribute to Rs 500 a month, IAS and IPS officers have advanced to contribute Rs 100,” KCR said.
State government employees also stated their readiness to contribute Rs 25 per month.
Trs Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar said he would contribute RS 5,000 a month for the proposed funds.
CM also appealed to parliamentarians belonging to opposition parties to contribute to the funds.
KCR said 10% of the funds from the development of elections would lead to green funds.
He said there was a proposal to collect 0.1% on government contract work, which will be collected by the Department of R & B and RS 1,000 for all government licenses and extension.
“I propose to collect Rs 1,000 during license updates such as wine stores, Rs 50 per transaction during property registration, a collection of nominal numbers ranging from Rs 10 to RS 100 during schools, colleges and receipts.
While the cost is Rs 5 for elementary schools, that will be Rs 100 for professional students, “CM said.
He hopes that the proposed green fund will be a role model for other countries.
Claiming that Haritha Haram, taken six years ago, was a great success, CM said about the total target of 20 crore plantations outside the forest area, the government had completed the growth of 76 crore, including 14 crore in HMDA.

By opposing the plantation of 100 crore puppies inside the forest area, the Numpring 60 Crore plantation has been completed.
For this program, the government has spent Rs 6,556 Crore, he said.
In the Green Development Program at Gram Panchayats and residence, KCR claimed possible for the first time, every gram of Panchayat and residence of 13,000 hectares in 19,000 villages and PALLE Prakruthi Vanalu residence was developed.
Similarly, for the promotion of greenery in the Mandal, ‘Bruhat Prakruthi Vanalu’ was developed with various plants in 526 Mands.
He said 109 urban parks were being developed in the city and its surroundings.
Sharing his experience when he was Siddipet Mla in the 1980s, KCR said he had to struggle to get 10,000 plants for the city of Siddipet.
“While I can buy some of the ESTWHILE HUDA, some tillers are taken from Kadiyam nurseries.
Now, every village has a baby room,” CM said.
