CM invited startup to help improve governance governance

Panaji: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Sunday invited a startup to establish a store in Goa and partnered with the state to increase efficiency in giving governance and service.
Sawant, which emphasizes the importance of increasing the IT ecosystem of Goa, promises to overcome concerns around business connectivity and the Internet.
Speaking at the Cerclave & Entrepreneurship Summit of Goa, Sawant also convinced startup, technology and investor companies that the government planned to implement the Bharatnet Center project immediately.
He said that Goa was one of the four first states in India to come out with startup policies, and in fact, “we revised the startup policy immediately with many additional changes that will benefit the upcoming startup.” Sawant said that Goa quickly became a preferred base for startup and technology entrepreneurs who were looking at long distance work.
“My government’s priority is to maintain the goans in Goa.
I call all youth and businessman Goan.
Come on for new India, not just a technology startup but startup all kinds,” he said.
The president of the Goa Technology Association Milind Anvekar said that Covid-19 Pandemi offers the opportunity for Goa the opportunity to promote the culture of ‘work from goa’, but lack of skilled workers and internet connectivity in rural areas remains a challenge.
Anvekar urged the government to overcome these challenges in priority, points carried out by IT IT professionals (Gitp) also emphasized.
Gitp member Maria d’Souza Chowdhary said that more gouans need to be employed by startup.
“We want the government to help startup by establishing public wifi in the park, on the KTC bus, bus and hospital holder,” Chowdhary said.
