Bhubaneswar: Chairman of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik on Monday virtually laid the foundation stone from two hotels in Puri and Bhubaneswar.
While the Swosti Group will establish a five-star luxury beach resort, overlooking the sea in Puri, Prachi Resorts Pvt Ltd will build a four-star hotel in Khandagiri here.
The Swosti Premium Beach Resort will have 13 floors, the highest hotel in the state, with 125 luxury rooms overlooking the sea to meet the needs of domestic and overseas tourists upscale.
The hotel will come on two hectares on the new Marine driveway in Sipasarubali Mouza.
“Swosti Grand 5-Star Swosti Resort in Puri by Swosti Premium on an Investment RS 134 Crore will produce potential employment opportunities for more than 310 people.

Swosti Group Cmd JK Mohanty said the beach resort would likely operate in 2024.
“We have obtained all the permits and approvals needed from the government to build a 13-storey hotel.
This will promote meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (mice) and wedding tourism.
It will also have Mega Conference and wedding facilities with large open air landscape courtyards at different building heights, “Mohanty said.
Mohanty said the Swosti group had also planned a special gaming zone for children and adults in the food court faced by the sea and spa facilities and health gyms and swimming pools.
