Patna: Cm Nith Kumar on Saturday placed the foundation stones and simultaneously inaugurated construction work for the double-decker flyover from Cargil Chowk near Gandhi Maidan to Patna Science College in Ashok Rajpath in the capital city.
This will be the first double-decker flyover on Patna and the second in Bihar.
This will be built with RS422 crore expenses in three years.
It will also connect the Patna Medical College (PMCH) hospital.
The first Double-Decker Legaran Bihar (3.5km-Long) will appear in Chhapra in the District Suggestion.
This will be the longest Double-Decker Libel in India.
CM Nitish has placed the foundation on July 11, 2018.
According to Bihar Rajya Pul Nigam Limited (BrPNNL), the current longest double-decker flyover is 1.8 km in Mumbai.
Speaking on that occasion, Nithish said the blanket construction became necessary because the widening of Ashok Rajpath was impossible because of the lack of land around it and increased traffic congestion on a busy road.
Remembering the width days in Patna Science College and then the College of Engineering Bihar (now Nit-Patna), Nitish said PMCH, also located in Ashok Rajpath, was being developed into a world-class and flyover hospitals will also connect its multi-level parking Proposed.
“After being improved, PMCH will be a 5400 bed hospital.
The work has begun.
People who visit PMCH and students of various schools, colleges and other institutions located in the area will have more comfort after completing this taste.
“Referring to public protests recently about the proposed demolition from the front of the Khuda Bakhsh Oriental library because of the development of this taste, said Nitish,” I have told the official that there will be no change in the building and its existing structure.
I, like cm , have visited the library several times since 2006.
How many CMS visited the previous library? “He said the flyover width would be reduced a little in front of the library to save Hall Reading George Curzon from Demolition.
“The total length of Tier-1 (from the Patna Science College to Cargil Chowk) will be 1.50 km, while Tier-2 (from Chowk Cargil to Patna Science College) will be 2.20 km.
Each level will have two lajur roads,” Khurshid Karim, Senior Project Manager Bihar Rajya Pul Nigam Limited (BRPNNL), told toi.
